Exchange setup keeps failing
I am trying to setup exchange 2013 and keep getting errors
Exchange 2010 and SBS 2011 was removed from network. I tried to remove all remnants of previous exchange version using ADSI edit
I did promote new server and took over all roles like pdc
Error:
The following error was generated when "$error.Clear();
set-ExchangeServerRole -Identity $RoleFqdnOrName -IsHubTransportServer:$true -DomainController $RoleDomainController
" was run: "Property IsHubTransportServer can't be set on this object because it requires the object to have version 0.1 (8.0.535.0) or later. The object's current version is 0.0 (6.5.6500.0).".David Sheetz MCP

Are you using the same computer name as the Exchange 2010 hub server in the domain? If yes try a different name.

No. unfortunately I am not
There are no exchange servers on the domain at this time. It is a test domain
I had removed and SBS server after transferring FSMO roles to a new DC
I was not thinking at teh time that that would bring over all teh stale exchange server
data.
I need to know how to totally remove all exchange data from AD because now I cant even uninstall teh failed Exchnage 2013 installation
any ideas?
