Exchange to groupwise migration
Wanted to migrate users accounts from the exchange 2007 to groupwise,an attempt stop due to changes made to the exchange the migration process itself....it seems some other accounts where created into the exchange which tends to send the undeliverable error
to the sender from the exchange...
the error"This recipient e-mail address was not found in the recipient e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please check the recipient e-mail
address and try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator."
The email address returned the error seems not to be found in the exchange..where could it possible be created??where can i find all the created accounts apart from the exchange console.
Thanks,
Gideon.

Hi
You have option to look at the account from Active Directory users and computers consolve or from Exchange Management Console- Recipient COnfiguration.
As the issue informed, Do you have the email address present for the affected user?
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now

Hi Raj,
I have check in both console no such email found..see my current email account format in the exchange is first.lastname@domain,i wanted to migrate the accounts to first_lastname@domain into the groupwise, the process was abort b4 the completion of the
migration.now the groupwise is off the network and users affected are those migrated.
Now the problem is they email flow is ok,but the exchange return the first_lastname@domain "undeliverable error"when a sender send an email to a legitimate first.lastname@domain account,i need help of where this first_lastname aliases been created
Thanks,
Gideon
