Exchangeserver 2007 and OWA
Hi everybody,
I've recented noticed something strange: my Outlook environment is not completely the same as my OWA environment.
I've deleted all of my deleted items in Outlook, and when I opened OWA after I've done this, I saw that everything was still there. Is it possible that OWA en Outlook are not connected to each other? I think that Outlook must be 'leading' and that OWA always
should show the content of Outlook.
I hope someone can help me.

Hi,
When you open OWA again now, does it update? As Andy mentioned above, it is possible due to cache mode.
In cache mode, Outlook synchronizes the users’ offline address book with updates from the Exchange Server copy of
the offline address book system folder every 24 hours. You can help control how often users download offline address book updates by limiting how often you make directory changes that affect the Exchange server's copy of the offline address book. If there
is no new data to synchronize when Outlook checks, the user's offline address book is not updated.
Hope it helps.
