Any 3rd party software installed on the server? Anti-Virus? If so , disable or remove. When did this start? Anything else in the event logs? Have you run Exbpa against the server? Otherwise, I would open a case with Microsoft Support for quicker assistance.

Another option would be to install Exchange 2007 SP3, which effectively reinstalls the product. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP. http://blog.sembee.co.uk , http://exbpa.com/

Agreed, more information is needed, like what all events are being logged, did it ever work, what has changed, and mostly what spacifically is in the log entries. I have seen times when the system attendant service will attempt to start before the Information store is started.

Run ExBPA Health Check to see what is happening, in addition check event logs for any related errors.MVP Exchange Server

Error numbers on their own are completely useless. Take a look at the number of different errors that are associated with those numbers on eventid.net. You need to post the entire error message. Although if it was occuring before the service pack was installed, I would be looking at the cause being outside of Exchange. Hardware, third party software. Something else installed on the system. AV and Antispam, particular Exchange integrated must be removed and the server rebooted to prove they are not the cause, disabling them is not enough. Tx I removed Norman End Protection and it works .... now, why was it working before ? Hard to say. Perhaps you should ask the AV vendor. You might find that if you install the latest build/version that it will work correctly. The problems are usually caused by third parties, Exchange itself is a very robust reliable product.
