Hi, Would you please describe the problem more detailed? 1. Please let me know whether you are able to locate the message when logon the Exchange mailbox through Outlook. If the message can be located, please let me know whether any error is encountered when attempting to open the message. Whether you are able to open and read the message by using OWA? 2. Regarding your description Exchange appears to be working good, i can send emails from outside and it accept it, but I can not track the e-mails, whether the message cannot be tracked in the message tracking log or any other symptom? Hi Mike, Thanks for your reply, I Tracked the messages using the Tracking tool of Exchange After some Research on my systems i got the following conclusion that i think that could be the key of the problem, I can not receive income mails but i can send out with no problem, but the key is the following It is supposed to send/receive mail as user@myexternal.com, but is sending as usermyexternal.com@myexternal.com So is adding the domain name as part of the user name, OWA is not working, lets say that is not properly configured i think, Outlook is working porperly Will appreciate a lot your response Thank you

Hi, Please understand the Exchange is only able to send email by using the Primary Email address of the AD user. Nevertheless, Exchange is able to receive messages from all the email addresses configured on the AD user. From your description, I understand the Exchange Server is able to send email out of the organization but fail to receive email from Internet. In addition, the message tracking log does not contain any information regarding the inbound email. If I am wrong, please let me know. Regarding the issue, would you please let me know whether any NDR message is received if you use an external account such as Hotmail to send test message to your organization. Mike
