Exmerge Permissions errors. Exchange server is a domain controller.
I am looking for some help. I created a parallel environment to recover a corrupt information store. The recovery environment consists of a single Windows 2003 Domain Controller with Exchange server 2003 Enterprise SP2. I successfully restored
the information store and mounted it. My problem is I cannot Exmerge the data. It is failing. I used the following to configure the permissions:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322312/

Thank you

Please post exactly what you've done and the exact and complete messages you receive. I really don't care to read KB articles and guess how they apply to you.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi TDiddles,
Any update for your issue?
Per your description, you have deploy a new parallel enviroment for the restore operation, that means you restore the DC and the exchange on a new server box, and the it is in a new forest, right?
Wich account do you use to do the exmerge, and what is the detailed procedures?
Did you reboot the server and make a test, if you have configure the account permission already?
Yet it is just a suggestion, not must.
