Expired appointment resending
Had a very odd issue today where our exchange server started sending out meeting and appointment reminders to all staff the were in the past. Insome cases as many as 180 weeks past due. There was no pattern to who received them and all dates were anywhere from 1 year old to 3.5 yrs old. Has nay one ever seen this issue before? Our main Mail server is Exchange 2007 on a Windows 2008 sever build, it has been in place for about a year and previously we had run exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 server build until then. Any ideas?

That has been reported numerous times in Exchange history. I don't recall there ever being a good diagnosis or solution.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi draccus, If you mean Outlook dismissed reminders keep coming back, please refer to this similar thread: Outlook dismissed reminders keep coming back http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrclients/thread/8a7f0c8c-c735-4ba1-a074-e0e5d57d2de4/ If you mean all the expired meeting and appointment reminders were resent to all staff: What is the version of your Exchange Server, did you install all the latest updates? Did you run any other third-party software on your Exchange Server before this issue occur?
