Export GAL to Contacts folder
I read in KB 23877 about how to export the GAL to a contact folder. Basically I am exporting my Windows 2003 GAL with email addresses and importing them to a Exchange 2007 Public folder that is located in another domain in my company. We are using an Exchange
2003 server. The conatacts show up but under the user's email information none of the exported email addresses are there.
Has anyone tried this before and had he same issue?

I was using "LDAP" base tool like "CSVDE":
Example:
csvde -r "(objectClass=user)" -d "ou=test ou,dc=domain,dc=com" -l
displayName,proxyAddresses -f c:\users.csv
then imported the cvs to a contact folder of a test account, and move it to a public folder. it worked for me.

When you do the export (yes, CSVDE - You can google that or go to computerperformance.co.uk) you will see the headings. Then you go to Outlook on the other domain and import that CSV. It's up to you whether you clean up the CSV before
you do the import or re-map the headings at the time of the import.

I will take a look at the two links and see if that gives me the results I am looking for.

This doesn't pull the info I need. It pulls the DN info and proxyemail address which shows all the addresses. I am looking for firstname, lastname, primary email address, job title and work phone number.
