You said there's only external contacts can appear in TO; OL can't see the other contacts in your GAL, right? But online mode can see all recipients in GAL. The issue may connect to OAB download in your OL somehow. Please describe your issue more detail: 1. Post your other thread if this one were just a follow up. 2. Write up your environment, like exchange and OS version 3. What troubleshooting steps did you try? avoid to give you same suggestion again 4. Affected users scope

Windows 2003 64bit/R2 w/ Exchage 2007Standard Version: 08.00.0685.018 We are using Outlook 2003 SP3 clients We have just started migrationg users from mDeamon (7 so far) to Exchange. We have /Contacts folder under Recipients with the external addresses of the mDaemon users. we have only one Default OAB setup for public folders and web (it works with OWA) What we see on the cached OAB is only the external contacts not the exchange contacts. We have tried telling the client not to use the OAB in the Send/Receive Settings and did the registry hack Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11\Outlook Add the following DWORD Key: DownloadOAB Set it's value to 0 (the default when you create it anyway) No matter after you delete the .oab files they come back randomly and then.oab files still show up in Local Settings of the client profile with ONLY the external users in the /Contacts folder and not the native Exchange users. Any help would be apreciated. bville

Please check your configuration is correctly set on server Managing Offline Address Books http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124351(EXCHG.80).aspx Please use the following steps to collect error info for troubleshooting: 1. Create a test account on temp pc 2. turn on diagnostical logging by two methods a. method one: track communication that occurs between OL and server i. Start OL->Tools->Options->Other->Advanced->select "Enable logging" checkbox->OK and restart OL to test OAB download ii. Log file locations: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\Opmlog.log Important: It is very important that you turn off logging after you complete your troubleshooting. If you do not turn off logging, the log files continue to increase in size b. method two: track failures in the application log by editing the registry Use the link below to set up registry, then check application log for error (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011742661033.aspx#Locations) More detail for troubleshooting: OAB Download Issues with Outlook Diagnostic Logging http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310776(EXCHG.80).aspx
