FQDN will not work on the internal network.
Sorry if this is a newbie question.I setup OWA to work from the Internet. Example webmail.mysite.comThis works from any computer outside my LAN on the inside it does not work. I had to setup one like webmailinternal.mysite.com and that one works on my lan but not outside my lan.Is there anything I can do to use just webmail.mysite.com for internal and external?Thank-you for all the help.

I take it your computer is named differently than the public name (webmail). A couple of things you may need is to create a cname record in DNS called webmail and point it to webmailinternal. The other option is if you use a different domain name scheme for your internal network ie mysite.local or mysite.prv then you will need to create a split dns. This is where you will create another primary zone with mysite.com. Hope this helps.

I added the cname but instead of being able to use webmail.mysite.com I need to use webmail.local.mysite.com I had a typo in the first question it should have been to access the webmail internal it is webmailinternal.local.mysite.com Any more Ideas? Thanks in advance

Ok you will need to create a split dns. To do this you will need to add a primary zone to your ad/dns server called mysite.com. add a Host(A) record called webmail to the zone with an ip of your local webmail server.
