Fax Mail Transport & Exchange 2010
We're planning a migration from SBS 2003 R2 to Server 2008 R2 & Exchange 2010. We currently use Microsofts Fax Services and Fax Mail Transport in Outlook 2007 to send documents via Outlook. Is this feature still supported with Exchange 2010 & Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010? I "think" Microsoft's Fax Services operate outside the Exchange Realm in that it relies on converting documents into TIFF and routing those through the print spooler / fax printer / fax modem on the sending side. On the receiving side Microsoft's Fax Services runs as an agent that emails the faxes to an email address I think we're good but I wanted a second opinion.. Thanks :) *Note: I'm not referring to Incoming Fax Support w/ Unified Messaging

As I know, you are correct about the Faxing procedure. Also, “Fax Mail Transport” still exists in the outlook 2010. If there’s the difference for the “Fax Mail Transport” in the new outlook version, it should be official document for that

Couldn't find x 64 either. I think you need to find 3PL provider of faxing software. There are many out there that integrate with Exchange 2010. Had the same issue
