The pop that comes after File- save in visio 2010 does not come up. However i can get the same by using the key shortcut. What could be the problem ?

Do you mean that the save dialog box does not appear? Like this:

Am I right? If yes, did this issue occur with other Office suits? In my view, this issue might be caused by the "Disable visual themes" is checked. Try to uncheck this option:

1. Right-click the Visio 2010 shortcut on your desktop. If you don't have one, create one.

2. Click "properties"

3. Select the "compatibility" tab

4. Uncheck "disable visual themes" if it is checked

Hi George,

Thanks for the reply. Yes it happens only for visio and not for other office products. Also when i right click i don't get the compatibility tab for visio. I get it for other applications like chrome. When i do "Run programs made for previous versions of Windows," i don't get the option for visio. This was deployed as a fresh package and was not an upgrade

Please try to start Visio via safe mode, because this issue might be caused by some add-ins. And then, we also can repair Visio 2010 and check if it is helpful.
