Not to my knowledge. From past experience the database will need to be dismounted for the path to move. I'm sure you've seen this: How to Move a Storage Group Pathhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125252.aspx SF - MCITP:EMA, MCTS: MOSS 2007, OCS 2007, Exchange 2007 -- http://www.scottfeltmann.com

There is no way you can move the log files directory to a diff location without down time. even if you move the log files from EMC, it will be a three step process1. Dismount the store2. Move the log file3. Mount the stores back.Raj

Thank you, I will follow the three step process. I am using SBS2003, this also applies to this version, correct?

I haven't worked much with SBS2003 but the process should be the same.SF - MCITP:EMA, MCTS: MOSS 2007, OCS 2007, Exchange 2007 -- http://www.scottfeltmann.com

In this case the procedures are the same. For most of the other types of data moves you should use the SBS tools (user files, WSUS, SharePoint etc). To Rajnish R Sharma (1. dismount the store; 2. move the log files; 3. mount the stores back), a forth step should perhaps be added: 4. Remove the destination folder from being scanned by file-level anti-virus software running on your server.Moving Data Folders for Windows Small Business Server 2003http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708031(WS.10).aspx Moving SBS 2003 Data Foldershttps://msmvps.com/blogs/bradley/archive/2004/04/26/5531.aspx How to move Exchange databases and logs in Exchange Server 2003http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821915Jon-Alfred Smith MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M
