First line of font changing randomly

Has anyone experienced an issue where the first line of the font has changed after replying to an email?

So, if user A emails User B in Arial, when user B replies to A, the first line of the font will have changed to Times New Roman. This happens completely randomly.

We use Windows8, Office 2010 and Exchange Server 2007 SP3. Tried deleting the local user profile\OST and even a new PC but still get the same problem. We have Trend Office Scan as our anti-virus application.

Hi,

Does this issue happen to all users?

By "This happens completely randomly.", do you mean this issue may happen to user B but it may work correctly with user C? Or you mean the font may not change for at random time for user B?

When we replying to a message, it will use the default replying font we set in Outlook. Users can change the default replying font by going to File > Options > Mail > Stationery and Fonts > Replying or forwarding messages heading. Please check if the user has this option set correctly.

If I've misunderstood something, please feel free to let me know.
