I have a Powerpoint pptx presentation which reports and error when I attempt to open it. The system may have been turned off in the middle of a PowerPoint session

The better place to ask this is a forum that supports end-user issues. This forum concentrates on writing code, so your chances of finding people with experience in this area is slim. I'm going to move your question to an IT Pro forum, but they will need to know from you WHICH kind of PowerPoint file this is? Is it a *.ppt or *.pptx?
