Force Store to update under/over limit on mailboxes
Good Afternoon! When a mailbox exceeds his/her send/rcv quota, their mailbox becomes disabled. From what I understand, exchange only checks every few hours to see if the mailbox size has fallen under that limit. My question is this: Is there anyway to force exchange to check?(Reasoning behind this: I accidently set a user's quota low yesterday, (left off a zero or two), then realized it, and had to restart the Store in order to get exchange to realize that their mailbox was under the limit... looking for a way to do this without waiting a few hours, and, without restarting the store.)Thanks,Dan Ormsby,Systems AdminNEMA

Check out the Exchange Server Quota Message Service.
It's mainly used to modfy the quote messages but it also adds an option to manualy run quota maintnance.
By default Quota maintnance runs every 24 hours.
This tool is for Exchange 2000 and 2003
