Forestprep and Domainprep
Hi,
I am getting ready to install the Exchange Server. We are planning to Install Exchange 2003 on a Windows Server 2003 environment. Iam not sure whereto run the "Setup /forestprep" and "Setup /domainprep" do I load the Exchange Server CD on the new member server which I am installing the Exchange server or I should load the Exchange CD on the Domain Controller and run the commands "Setup /forestprep" and "Setup /domainprep". Please advice and thanks all in advance.
Thanks & Regards

You can run on member server where you are going to install Exchange Server, it will connect to DC/GC to extend the schema and create Exchange groups.

When you install First Exchange Server, it will automatically run ForestPrep & DomainPrep also, it doesn't matter whether it is member server for that domain or domain controller.
