Forwarding Messages, Specific Ruling in EMC
Hi, I am on Exchange 2007, and have a client on Outlook 2007who wishes for all his mail to be forward to a handheld device, however he doesn't want the mail that would normally go straight to his junk mail delivered to his handheld. How can I declare a forwarding rule that says, Forward all messages unless they are in Junk. As I understand it, he has to add all those JunkMail people to an unsafe list, so is it this list I need to access? So should the rule be more like: if mail is not on the safe list then forward onto xxx@xxx.com I'm not sure this is possible as the EMC properties only offer a simple Forward Tick for Forward/NoForward option. Many Thanks, Nathan Channon

Dear customer: Firstly, you can expose SCL (Spam Confidence Level) in Outlook 2007, for more information about how to achieve that, you can refer to the following documents: Exposing SCL (Spam Confidence Level) in Outlook http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2004/05/26/142607.aspx Secondly, according to the following steps to create transport rule on Exchange server 2007, a) Open EMC, navigate to Origination Configuration-Hub transport, click transport rules, select new transport rule, b) Input name, click next, in condition page, select the following condition, With a spam confidence (SCL) rating that is greater than or equal to 0, click 0, input the -1, c) Click next, select the following action, Redirect the message to addresses, click addresses, and add the e-mail address that you want to forward. d) Click next, on exception, select the following exception, With a spam confidence (SCL) rating that is greater than or equal to 0, click 0, input the value according to the SCL (Spam Confidence Level) in Outlook 2007. e) Accomplish the wizard and Check the effect. I hope the information above can address your concerns. If anything is unclear, please feel free to let us know. Rock Wang - MSFT
