Forwarding mails to local users
I have a single Exchange 2003 SP1. The external mail is being sended through a smart host using a conector. If I send a new mail to a local user all works fine and is delivered locally. But if I forward a received mail to the same local user, the forwarded mail is sended through the conector, instead of being delivered locally. This makes undesirable delays. Is there any way to configure the route of the forwarded mails? Thanks in advance

HiFirst of all I apologize for my delay.Answering to your question, I just forward a received email opened in Outlook (no rules).I've seen in the tracking log some interesting points:1-If I send a new email to an external account (hotmail for example) I can see in the tracking log the full process. (see sended file "new_sended_mail_to_external_account.xml")2-If I send a new mail to a local account, all works fine. (see file"new_sended_mail_to_local.xml")3-If I forward a received mail to an external account. The mail is sended but no there is no registration about the process.4-If I forward a received mail to a local account, this one is sended to the smart host (no output registry is available) and received from internet(with delay). In this case the reception is registered in the tracking log. (see "forwarded_sended_mail_to_local.xml")I've sended the files to your mail "allensyr2003@hotmail.com"Thanks in advance
