Hi Exchange Gurus,

two simple question:

I have 2 ISO files which contains the Exchange 2013 SP1 and the other one contains Exchange 2013 CU6.

Is it correct that I can directly use the Exchange 2013 CU6 for a fresh installation (for the schema update and installation of the Exchange Mailbox Server and CAS )?

So there's no need to use the ISO of Exchange 2013 SP1, right?

Hi,

Yes, there is no need install Exchange 2013 SP1. Microsoft recommend installing the latest Cumulative Update of Exchange 2013, because the latest update includes previous updates. So you can directly use the Exchange 2013 CU6 for a fresh installation.  

Make sure operating system meets prerequisites for Exchange 2013 in the following document
