Front End Exchange 2003 OWA double login
I have 5 backend Exchange 2003 sp2 servers with SSL and Forms Based Authentication. They all belong to the same domain, each in a different administrative group. I have added a front end Exchange server, also 2003 sp2, with SSL and Forms Based Authentication. I have made it a FE within Exchange Manager and restarted the server. The need for the FE is for OWA only (at this point). Users will not access the FE (for now); it is for a SharePoint web part to Authenticate email only, so security is only a minor concern (for now). I will worry about locking it down once I get it working. THE PROBLEM: When I try to login to OWA, it directs me to the correct BE, but I get the FBA from the Backend server and have to type credentials in once again. The whole point is to have the credentials forwarded to the correct BE so the credentials only get sent once.I have scoured theInternet and read the Front-End and Back-End Server Topology Guide for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange 2000 Server documentation.Any help would be appreciated.

Figured it out myself. Enable anonymous access in the Exchange virtual directory in IIS. Works now.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
