Garbled character in outgoing mails
Hi, We are using Exchange 2003 (SP2) and on the client side Outlook 2007. After making the changes in the registry for the "Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User", Value Data=40(Hexadecimal) in (HKLM>SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Services>MSExchangeIS>ParametersSystem), users are complaining that they are getting GARBLED characters in their outgoing mails. Could you please help me on this? where is the problem?

Hi, From your description, I understand that after you change the registry for the “Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User”, your users get garbled characters in their outgoing mails. For this issue, I want to clarify the following information before we go further: 1. Will this issue still occur after you change the “Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User” to default setting. 2. Why do you need to change the registry for the “Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User”? 3. Is there any error in your event log? If so, please paste the error in your next post. Thanks, EvanPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
