Getting duplicated emails from external users
Dear All, Some of my users are reporting issue of receiving duplicate emails from external email accounts. server is exchange 2007 and clients are Outlook 2007. Mail sent by internal users doesnt have duplication problem. I find it difficult to find whether the problem is with Outlook or Exchange Server.Kindly help me from this situation

Check if the message id is same for the duplicate one. If so, you need to check if any server side rules is corrupt. Also, I would suggest you to try disabling the mail scanners as I faced a similar issue long back due to Antigen. Good Luck Shaba

Hi, I suspect this as an issue with client side. These can be tried out 1. Check after disabling any Add-in in Outlook 2007. Check this issue by running Outlook in Safe Mode. 2. May be rules set for outlook Regards from www.windowsadmin.info

Hi, I recreated the account in another machine, and couldnt find the same problem. so I recreated the same account in the old machine, and I am monitoring now for duplicates. Regards, Sereno
