Global Address List not Updating
Hi i am facing the below issue with echange GAL.
OAB does not appear to be updating. Clients running in cache mode .
CAS server not retrieving the OAB file from the Mailbox Server
We Checked the time stamp for the OAB file on MBX server; Location: c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ExchangeOAB (up to date)
and we Checked the time stamp for the OAB file on CAS server; Location: c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Client Access\OAB(Not updated)
Client couldnt download the OAB file from the CAS server. Please see the snap shot below.Khaja Hameed

Restart file distribution Service. on CAS
and Bits in Mbx . Check if that updates/

Try creating a new oab . and try restarting the services above.
check what happens ?

For your reference the process is as below:
Update-OfflineAddressBook -Identity "Default Offline Address Book"
Wait a few minutes and restart the File Distribution Service on your CAS and/or run the following command:
Update-FileDistributionService -Identity CASServer

Hello,
Please first try what Satheshwaran Manoharan suggest.
If it still does not work, check the folder permissions, both sharing permission and NTFS permission.
