Global Safe senders list in Exchange 03 w/ Outlook 07 Clients
Hi, In our network we have Outlook 07 clients and an Exchange 03 server. The problem we're having is that administrator emails from MOSS are getting sent automatically to the junk email folder. I know that Outlook has a safe senders list and in Exchange 07 you can set this for all clients but it does not appear that you can do this in Exchange 03. Does anyone know of any other way I can set the safe senders list for all of the Outlook clients?

Hi there,Read: "Understanding Exchange Server Intelligent Message Filter" http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125125(EXCHG.65).aspxThis details the process for Exchange Server 2003.You have two options,1. Configure the Global Accept List as noted in the article: "Connection filtering checks the global accept list. If an IP address is on the global accept list, no other connection, recipient, or sender filtering is applied, and the message is accepted."Open ESM, Global Settings, Message Delivery, Connection Filtering, Global Accept and Deny List Configuration2. Using Outlook or Outlook Web Access, add the sending address from MOSS to the users Safe Senders List.I believe you have to use both in combination, it's been a while :-)Hope this helps,Oliver Oliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim | http://www.exchange2007.com | http://www.exchange2010.com | http://www.cobweb.com |

Yes, agree with Oliver, you can use IMF to implement "Whitelist".More information:http://exchangepedia.com/blog/2006/12/imf-wheres-whitelist.htmlFrank Wang
