Global address incomplete
I have a problem with the Global address list in Exchange 2003 (as seen through Outlook 2007). It worked ok until:1. Addeda 2008 domain server to my 2003 domain ( all preinstalls done correctly to 2003 )2 Added a 2003 64 bit Terminal server and installed a Foxpro application.3 Added Outlook 2007 clients accessed through terminal server (remotes), all arefound inthe Exchange Server mailbox.I can see all users thru the terminal server Outlook connection, all the shared calenders and all users show up in the Outlook Global address list.Since I created the terminal server / added a domain server, I can no longer get a complete Global address list from my normal desktop Outlook 2007. I can access the users if I enter their full display name.I have added exchange users both inside and outside the terminal server, all of these new users have the same problem.Dennis

For sure TS installation has nothing to do with the incomplete address list view. Now that you have installed a 2008 domain contoller, was the domain upgraded without any error or warning? Also when you say "complete global address list", do you mean to say you are missing some users or DLs over there? Also if you are on a laptop and connected to outlook or OWA , can you see all your users?Raj

The complete global address list (All mail box assigned users) is seen only when I log on thru the terminal server then open Outlook and look at the global address list. If I look at the list from my normal desktop (lan)I can only see users addresses that were there before the new domain server was installed. I did not receive any error message during upgrading the 2008 server to a domain server. OWA is not currently being used. No users are missing from Exchange but the global list is not up to date via lan but is up to date via terminal server access.ThanksDennis

Run this command from your laptop and see the result and then run the same command fro TS and see the resultset l (SET L).This will tell which DC they are loggin into. I am sure the TS is going to the old one where as your laptop is going to the new DC. Also check if the replication is working without any errors or warning between both the domain controllers. Run a dcdiag /v /e from both the DC's and post the result here.Raj
