HTML signature problem with exchange 2007 Mail.App snow leopard
Hi there,
i'm having a problem with HTML signatures using Mail.app (snow leopard) and MS exchange 2007 SP2
My account on mail.app has an HTML signature with jpg image linked.
Mail.app is set to write email in rich-text; "remote domain" setting on exchange is "never use RTF format to send email".
Everytime the mail is passing "through" exchange, the encoding of the signature is changed, and you cannot see anymore the correct image and the HTML tags. (mailto, etc)
Also, if you add an attachment, the recipient cannot see the right format and the signature, and is receiving a att0001.htm attachment replacement.
Could please anyone help me?

Hi Andrea,
Does the problem also happen when setting the original message to HTML?
What's the format of the message when it arrived the destination?
Do you want to force Exchange to send a HTML?
Force Exchange to send a HTML on a Domain basis
========================================
1. Open EMC, expand t Organization Configuration->Hub Transport.
2. In remote domain, right click and click "New Remote Domain"
3. Give the connector a name and enter the domain name you would like to send HTML to. e.g. domain.com. Click new then click finish.
4. Open EMS, type:
Set-RemoteDomain -Identity:domain.com -ContentType:MimeHTML

Well,
mail.app on snow leopard can send email only in plain text /rich text mode; in the body of the message that i'm trying to send there are:
text
signature (logo of the company plus text about description of the role)
When passing through exchange, the mail is reaching the destination with plain/text format... something is written here http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3ben-us%3b969854&x=13&y=13
The same mail, with the same signature, but sent through outlook 20100, is received by external recipients in a correct way, as multipart message.
Is not possible to set on domain basis the format of the message, because the owner of the pc is using mail.app as default client.
Any help is appreciated
Andrea
