Have I exceeded my Cals?
I'm thinking that I'm exceeding my 20 licenses but I can't tell which server is short. We have 19 PCs + 4 networked copiers/printers.
We have an SBS 2003 server hosting our exch email and an application server running Server 2003 hosting Access. When I take a PC off the LAN and try to reconnect I get this which is happening more frequently now...
The system cannot log you on now because the domain FLEXBANK is not available.
–or - Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not found.
I get the feeling the server is assigning 90 day cals that are expiring? But
SBS Server Mgt says I have 20 installed licenses. And
Server 2003 Domain Licensing says I have
35 per server purchased, and 19 per server reached.
So when a PC connects to the network, is SBS sending this message or Server 2003 on the app box?
And why do I feel I've exceeded my licenses when the figures say I have enough licenses?... or are my networked printers using a license? I learned all this stuff as I went along, but no formal training.
Thx to anyone that can help me out!

I would ask this in the SBS forums for a better response:
