I installed a new Exchange 2013 CU8 server in a new invironment.

In the application log I see these Error all the time.

EventID 17, 23 and 258

(Process w3wp.exe, PID 6828) "RBAC authorization returns Access Denied for user domain.net/Microsoft Exchange System Objects/Monitoring Mailboxes/HealthMailbox6abb348c643845acaee87941bd609e63. Reason: No role assignments associated with the specified user were found on Domain Controller dc.domain.net"

Anyone seen anything like this?

I tried to recreate the HealthMailboxes and it didn't fix anything.

I found the cause.

No roles were selected in "Default Role Assignment Policy". How this can happend - I have no clue.

What lead me in that direction was when I tried to access "Settings" -> "Options" in the OWA I got a "403 Access Denied".
