Hi Guys, I'm having a issue with my Exchange deployment. My domain setup is as follows: CompanyA.hosted.prv I have run the ADPrep and domain prep at the hosted level and everything appeared to be okay at first. However i have deployed the CAS, Hub Transport and Mailbox so far. I have noticed that it seems to be looking directly at the Hosted level instead of the CompanyA level. Although i have changed the scope to look at just the CompanyA domain, when i create the mailbox it comes out as user1@companya.hosted.prv so that is correct When i open Outlook and add the user it says User1.hosted.prv Does this mean i have to start everything again and do the domain preps at the CompanyA level or is there any way to fix this so its looking at CompanyA. Any help would be very much appreciated. Please let me know if this is unclear. Thanks, Adz adz

sure let me see if i can try explain more clearly. So our domain is companya.hosted.prv DC1 and 2 = hosted.prv DC 11 and 12 = companya.hosted.prv so currently i have run the prepare schema etc.. in hosted.prv to update the schema which is where i thought this would be done. What this has done is created exchange security groups in dc1 and 2. I initially did not think this would be a problem - perhaps it still isnt. I created all the exchange servers as follows: HUB.companya.hosted.prv, CAS.companya.hosted.prv, Mailbox.companya.hosted.prv I want to setup mail for users in companya.hosted.prv, so when i create a new mailbox for the user the default email address should be 'usera@companya.hosted.prv' instead it comes out as 'usera@hosted.prv' I basically dont want the servers or mailbox to be pointing to hosted.prv and instead should be companya. It is EAP i guess - but i should not need to change the address manually by default if a user is sitting in company.hosted.prv then it should add it like that not suddenly give it a address or user1.hosted.prv ?? Have you prepared all domains when you done the prep? The default EAP, can be changed Is this the internal domain, so are you ont going to proivde an external SMTP address or just going to use internal email?Sukh
