I noticed that some, but not all of my Distribution Groups, have the circle with the red line through their icon. If I try to add the ones with circle with the red line, I get the following error: One or more users cannot be added to the folder access list. Non-local users cannot be given rights on this server. I did a get-distributiongroup on both groups and they look identical. RecipientType : MailUniversalSecurityGroup RecipientTypeDetails : MailUniversalSecurityGroup

Please describe the exchange version, AD topology Is it an upgrade or migrated exchange environment? Where do you see the Distribution Groups (DG) with red line circle, EMC?
