Help me in creating SPF Record

My exchange server name is exchange2013.mydomain.com and my internal and external urls are mail.mydomain.com. I need to create an SPF record at the ISP. How should be my SPF record at ISP be, please do guide me in creating the record. which of the below syntax is rite and whts the difference

v=spf1 a mx ptr mx:mail.mydomain.com all ( I wud prefer to go with this and correct me with the syntax)

or

v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

or

v=spf1 ip4:publicip include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

If your "A" and "MX" records are correct in public DNS, then choice #1 is probably fine.  Did you use Microsoft's online tool?  If not, here's the link: http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/safety/content/technologies/senderid/wizard/ Basically just answer the questions and it will output the necessary syntax that you can send to your ISP.  Let us know if you need further assistance.

-all i doubt here ,may be syntax wrong

What is the difference between -all and  ~all

Thanks alot i have A record MX Record and PTR Record at isp , I am going with

v=spf1 a mx ptr mx:mail.mydomain.com all

I have A record for mail.mydomain.com and A record for mydomain.com at isp. In the above syntax it considers domain A record Am i right
