Help on backup exchange 2003 mail box to import in Echange 2007
Dear all,I am running sbs 2003 32 bit with exchange 2003 on which I have 3 mails box for which I do not want to loose the content of it especially adress book.I am planning to install SBS 2008 64 bit but I cannot plan for standard migration plan as I have a single server so I need to install a fresh copy of SBS 2008But before that I need to backup all my mail box content of my existing exchange 2003 in order to import those in my new installation :1- How can I safely backup my 3 mails box settings and content from Exchange 2003 ?2- How can I import my saved mail box into my fresh new exchange 2007 of my sbs 2008PS : Iknow nothing on exchange so thnaks to be simpleregardssergeYour experience is build from the one of others

Answer 1. When you run Exmerge by default it exports the below components from the mail box. It will alos pull the Contacts , so you dony have to worry about the address book. Once you have installed Exchange 2007 with the Mailbox Server role you can use the Exchange Management Console to move mailboxes from an Exchange 2003 server to the Exchange 2007 Mailbox server.Also, see the following link on the subject:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124797(EXCHG.80).aspx
