Help with Event ID's 8197 & 9175
I've been getting the following errors on my Exch2003 server for the lastfew of months now.
Event 8197 is logged every 25mins and I've gone over Microsoft article 828764time & time againbut have been unable
to relsove the issue. Event 9175 only appears when the offline address book is sheduled to built at 5am. Needless to say the
offline address book has not been updated for a few months now. It's been very difficult to get information regaring these problems.
Apart from that everything else appears to be working fine.
Any advise would be a great help!

I've managed to fix the above issue.......thankfully.
I found that there was a couple of duplicate 'ServicePrincipalNames' in AD.Eg....HOST/Servername.
How these were created I have no idea. I found the error whilst reviewing the domain controllers event log (system).
Event ID 11 appeared "see KB321044" which helped me find the duplicate entry. Once these were removed using ADSI Editthe above errors stopped and we can now build our "Offline address Book" once more.
Hopefully this will assist other people.

Hi Dod,
I've received this kind of Error message thousand times:
16:32:32 Microsoft Exchange offline address book
16:32:32 Not downloading Offline address book files. A server (URL) could not be located.
16:32:32 0X8004010F
do you also have a problem in mounting secondary storage group database which contains Public Folder ?
as I seems to get stuck in DELETING and mounting that Secondary DB.
