Help with svchost.exe
Could someone please help. I have searched everywhere and can't find the answer. When I click on certain applications, my computer throws up a box that says svchost.exe-application error.............The instruction at "0x00a096bc" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written". I can click it off the screen and procede with what I was attempting to do, but it is quite annoying. I also noticed that around the same time this started happening that if I type a address in my address bar, it takes about 5 minutes to go there...I have started just using the search engine to get places faster.

Besides Leif's input, you can use Process Explorer v11.21 to check which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded. Process Explorer v11.21 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx Xiu
