As far as I know, the issue usually occurs if the installation files are corrupted on the system. When try to install, uninstall and repair Office, we might get the error code: 30088-13 and 30088-4.

To resolve the issue, we might need to remove Office manually (Not only from control panel.) . Once it completes, then you may re-install Office 2013 and verify the results.
