Our domain controller is running on 2003 Server SP2 and to my knowledge, wehave never had any problems with the mapping of home folders for our users, however recently (about 2 weeks ago) some of our users home folders are mapping one level above their user folder to the "users" folder. They can navigate to their folders without a problem, it just is not mapping consistently. Sometimes, after a reboot, their home folder will map correctly and other times it reverts back to the upper level folder. Any idea what can cause this type of erratic behavior?

This is an Exchange forum so I'm not sure how much help you will get. Are you mapping to a share name or the fully qualified location?
