How do I Find what Edition my Exchange 2007 and 2010 roles are running?
This is easy to do in a mixed Exchange 2003/2007/2010 environment (the Ex2k3 Admin console shows the editions and versions of all servers). However, in my environment I have no Exchange 2003. How can I figure out what edition (Enterprise or Standard) my non-mailbox server roles are running with Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2010? On my CAS Roles, there's no databases to mount, so the 1216 and 1217 events that you'd use in previous Exchange versions are not present ...

get-exchangeserver will show you everything. Edition, Version, Build etc. You can also customise the view in EMC. If you click on Server Configuration it will show a list of the servers and you can add Edition to the list. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
