Hi there,
In haven't tested it yet, but you should be able to use the set-mailbox cmdlet from what I've heard.
Set-Mailbox -Identity <guid|smtp|name>-LinkedMasterAccountdomain\user

It sounds about right, but I get the following error:
Failed to resolve the linked master account and verify it exists in another forest different from the one hosting Microsoft Exchange. Error message: Failed to reconnect to Active Directory.
Commands used:
c$=Get-Credential (SOURCE\administrator)
set-mailbox -Identity TARGET\User1 -LinkedCredential $c -LinkedDomainController SOURCEDC.local -LinkedMasterAccount SOURCE\User1
I'm running the commands as TARGET\Administrator.
What am I missing?
Thanks!

Seems to have problems getting the variables correct....
Command should be:
$c=Get-Credential (and not c$)
Still I get the following error:
Failed to resolve the linked master account and verify it exists in another forest different from the one hosting Microsoft Exchange. Error message: Received a referral to target.local when requesting CN=Configuration, DC=target, DC=local from SOURCEDC.source.local. You have specified the wrong server for this operation.
Looks like it's asking the the source DC for the configuration container for the target domain...
Can anyone spot what I'm doing wrong?
