I have a message store I want to delete, but the SW will not let me. I am running MS Exchange 2003 on an MS SBS 2003 server R2 (SVR_PC) in the domain DOM. This is the only server in the environment. I want to remove the store fred pfs This store is linked to the folder: fred It was setup as a public store. I never added any public folders. When I try to delete it, I get the error: "You cannot delete this public folder store because it contains folder replicas. Of course, I cannot move the replicas since I have only one server. You can not delete it if that is the last public folder store in your organization What is the reason behind public folder store deletion? It holds so many functionalities like Scheduled Free/Busy information for all users in your organization, Offline Address List distribution etc and even if you delete it manually then user will have problem with these functions.

If you look at the original posted question, you will notice I still have the "Public Folder Store" This is the folder with all the items you meantioned. So, no, I am not deleting the main public folder store. I create a test store (for learning reasons) and now I want to delete it. Again, all "shared folders, Shared Contacts, Offline Messages, etc. are part of the Public Folder Store, not the store I want to delete. The store I want to delete as no information in it.
