Hi,

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Based on the error message, I suppose that you might use Office for mac. Am I right? If yes, please try the method:

Move one to the desktop and bring up the Info pane on it, Command-I. Then under "Open with" set Preview as the default application. Then click on the "Change all" button.
