Hi,
Turn off logging
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.
- Clear the Enable logging (troubleshooting) check box, and then click OK two times.

I would like to disable/remove these folders also and "Enable logging (troubleshooting)" is NOT ENABLED (Unchecked).
Other suggestions? Thanks.
Sally,
I have a user with this same complaint, using Outlook 2010. (Of course it's the President of the company). We checked and this setting is turned OFF already, but he still gets the sync issues. How do I resolve this for him please?
The "Enable Logging" function is just for Outlook troubleshooting, for the folder: Sync Issues", according to my understanding, it is system folder and could not be removed/disabled, but, for normal user, we don't suggest to view the folder list, please switch the view to mail instead of folder list (on the menu of outlook, go, mail), then you will not see "Sync issues"
If user got many alert in "Sync isssue", you had better check the error code and search by Google, most of them could be found with solution. thanks.
Switching to Mail view is not a solution. What happens when quotas are turned on and the sync errors fill it up. Also there is not a President or Owner of a company that is going to support an It person that can fix the problem. Does any one have an answer to vreiner's question "I have a user with this same complaint, using Outlook 2010. (Of course it's the President of the company). I am having the same problem with my outlook '07 account. I once had logging enabled, and turned it off but i cannot stop the sync issues folder from filling with useless emails.
I am quite annoyed and yes, avoiding it by not 'seeing' the folder is a ridiculous answer!
That's like, my arm hurts when i lift it- well, don't lift it. sorry snarky but it is true that those answers are not technical or helpful.
Still seeking the solution....
