How does Outlook decide to poll every 60 seconds vs. UDP listener
I get the logic that when Outlook first connects it passes it's IP address and a random port number so that Exchange can send a UDP *boink* whenever new mail arrives in it's mailbox. If for some reason (like a firewall) this doesn't happen, _somehow_ Outlook decides to start polling every 60 seconds. Does anyone know the logic that it is using to decide to do start polling...or does it always poll every 60 seconds regardless? Thanks for your help?
