How long does deleting unicode fixup table take?
Hi,The datbase is around 80GB on NAS attached to the exchange box via a direct 1GB cable.I've also mapped to another folder on the NAS for the temp database. So far unicode fixup table using eseutil /p has been running for 18 hours. Any idea how long this will take?
Thanks for your help

Well, it really depends on many factors, your hardware & network resources, the amount of corruption in your database etc...
BTW, what was the reason whichintendedyou to run repair on database? It doesn't require unless you see real reason of corruption in event log...Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

please make sure that the command prompt is not paused. hit enter 2 times in order to check the same. also check the memory usage of eseutil process in taskbar. and if possible change the priority to realtime.Vinod

I agree with Amit. It would completely depend on number of corrupted pages and tables as well has other hardware resources. Normally eseutil utility processes this at 6-8 GB/hour. Ref: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/259851Milind Naphade | MCTS:M | http://www.msexchangegeek.com
