How to Deploy Outlook 2003 Rules to Users
I am looking at how best to deploy some common rules to multiple users without them having to perform any tasks. I could of course ask them to download the RWZ file and perform the import themselves, but I would rather automate that process to ensure universal deployment.
So, is it possible to push out or deploy the RWZ file and force an importfor my users in Outlook 2003? How about Outlook 2007, since we might be upgrading?
Cheers!

Hello,
you can do that using third-party utilies. Google for "MAPILAB rules" or SpamMover.

Thank you for the reply, Victor.
Unfortunately, these tools go far beyond my need. I have one rule on one RWZ file that I need to push out to my Outlook users; I don't need the functionality of those third-party tools, nor would I be able to justify the $500 price tag.
Surely there is some way to copy and force the import of rules into Outlook users' systems without resorting to outside tools?
Cheers!
