How to Move MSSearch Location
Hi, Does anyone know how to change the location of the MSSearch files (catalog, index) for an Exchange 2003 cluster (2 node, A/P)? I'm getting ready to move the cluster to a different SAN, so the M drive, which is where MSSearch files are currently located, will be going away. So I need to point the Search files to a different drive. Thanks in advance....

Charles, I can't remember what you do to the passive node but this should get you going. http://almostdailytech.com/2009/06/18/moving-the-ms-search-the-easy-way-and-the-hard-way/ Try this in a lab if you can first, or open a call with MS Support. They have an internal doc that can walk you through the correct procedure.Mark Morowczynski|MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com
