How to change Outlook client Account Name
Hello, When we configure email in our outlook, it picks our account information autmatically and suggest a name automatically either it is MICROSOFT EXCHANGE ACCOUNT or some time it is USER@ABC.COM. I want to know that from where Outlook is picking this information so that if i change it from there it will automatically reflect in outlook client account. Like registry key or somewhere on Exchange server 2007.

Hi,Are you talking about the display name?Check if this helps you out? http://www.ipoint-tech.com/content/kb/Outlook-2007-Change-Account-Settings.aspx Raj I already got the answer of that. thanks. As i want to automize it for many users through registry change. Another question related to that.......Do someone know how to change default email account in outlook through registry. For example, i have 2 accounts configure in my Outlook, one is abc.com and other is abc.trin.com, now i want to change default property of any one account, how can i do it through regisrty so that i can make a login script of that.

Hi Hasan, We mainly focus on one issue in one thread, since it's more convenient for other users to participate and search for the problem in the forum. Could you please write a new post for the other question? Thanks, Elvis
