How to change Text Font in OWA 2007
Hello
I'm looking for an solution for a "stupid question". A user wants to configure the default font stly in outlook web access for text mails. Where can this be configured for incoming and outgoing emails? This should not be written in "times new roman, 12px", they like "tahoma, 10px". Has someone an idea?
Thanks a lot
Norbert

Hi Norbert,
I guess there isnt any option to set it globally or on multiple users and individual user needs to set it once in OWA -> Options -> Messaging -> Fonts and keep it default.

Hello Amit
Thanks for your reply. I checked this allready. But there is only the option HTML and TEXT. There is allready Tahoma 10, but it has no effect on text-mails (incoming, or in edit mode). It doesn't mather if the conif is per user, but the ceo thinks it looks "ugly" with Times News Roman... No comment about this, but he is the CEO ;-)

Hi,
Please understand that Plain text is a way to represent generic text without attributes such as fonts, subscripts, and boldface, thus, changing fonts is not supported in Plain text.

Hello Allen
Thanks for your reply. Is there a way to define the defaul font which OWA will use for displaying plain text? In the Outlook it's possible...
Thanks
Norbert

Hi,
Displaying plain text can only function when sending theemail. For the incoming email, blocking HTML inbound would require some sort of third party intervention. Rely on Exchange server 2007 itself could not be achieved.
Thanks

Hello
Is there no CSS (or option) which configures which font OWA has to use, when the email has no specified font type? As in outlook it would be great, if I could configure the font which should be used to display the txt-mails.
Thanks
Norbert
