How to configure TLS and Terminal Server on Windows Server 2000
Dear Sir/Madam, I do assignment (Certificate Authority)for my colleage. Now, I have some problem to ask you. After implemented Certificate Authority on my virtural mail server, below are some problems encountered: I. Configure Terminal Server: Server cannot link to page: http://servername/certsrv ("servername"I refer tomy computer name)II. Configure TLS: Windows 2000 Server SP4 have no some features as Windows 2003 Server: - Step 4, 5, and 6: Windows 2000 Server SP4 cannot configure but other steps are ok. * Please refer to the configuration below (High Light pink color are myproblems). I. Configure Terminal Server 1.Open IE: http://servername/certsrv 2. Click Request a Certificate 3. Type of Certificate Needed: Server Authentication Certificate 4. CSP: Microsoft RSA Schannel Cryptographic Provider 5. Key Usage: Exchange 6. Store Certificate: Local Computer 7. After finished: Click Submit II. Configure TLS 1. Start->Programs->Administrative Tools->Terminal Services Configuration 2. In the left panel, click Connections 3. In the right panel, right click the Connection->Properties 4. General Tab->Click Edit next to Certificate 5. Select Certificate: Choose Certificate->Click OK->Click OK 6. Security Layer: Choose SSL 7. Encryption Level: High or FTPS Compliant 8. Check: Use Standard Windows Logon Interface I would like to know how to config TLS and Terminal Server on Windows Server 2000 SP4. Please help me to solve this problem. This assignment is urgent. Note: I use Windows 2000 Server SP4 for my virtual mail server.
