How to create an Organisational public folder
We run Exchange 2007 with SP1 and i recently i created a folder under Public Folders to store Organisational forms i.e. so these forms custom Outlook forms can be loaded from end users. Im experiencing some weird problems and since im not 100% sure with Exchange 2007 could someone give me a step by step guide on how i should create Organisational Folder to store Outlook custom forms? Thanks

I read this guidance and i dont think this is what i would want to do when i have Exchange 2007 SP1. Surely this (the article instructions) is going back by a good standard when in Exchange 2003 all i was doing was clicking away setting permissions within minutes. Do i need to follow this even if i have SP1?

Yes, the KB applies to exchange 2007 SP1 as well

Finally what would be the difference in creating a Public folder and then publishing a custom Outlook form to this folder (then having users open this form in Outlook 2007 by File > New > Choose Form > Navigate to the Public folder created and then selectingthis form) and creating an Organisational folder to hold these custom Outlook forms? Thanks

I think that KB also gives the prerequisites for it: the Organizational Forms Library is not required for Exchange 2007 to operate correctly only if you must support custom forms that are already developed or if a third-party application requires the library
